Rosler ‘amazed’ by Brentford comeback

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler admitted he was “amazed” by his side’s ability to come from behind after the Bees fought back from 3-0 down to draw with Milton Keynes Dons.

Leon Legge’s stoppage-time equaliser was his second in four days and again spared his team sixth home league defeat of the season.

Their home form remains a concern, but Rosler believes Brentford have sent a clear message to their play-off rivals by salvaging draws against Bournemouth and now MK Dons.

“I’m amazed. Not many teams in this league can do that and it sends signals out to all the other clubs,” he declared.

“Their first goal was lucky, the second was a collective mistake from three or four of our players, but the third was the killer.

“But at half-time we did not look back, we looked forward and I thought we deserved the point.

“We outclassed them in midfield in the second half and that is the sort of performance we can produce at the moment. I think everyone will be happy with the result.”
