Bees ready to face Leicester’s attacking threat – Frank

Thomas Frank says Brentford are ready to deal with the threat of Leicester’s attacking players on Sunday.

Patson Daka scored four times for Brendan Rodgers’ side in their Europa League win over Spartak Moscow this week, having also scored against Manchester United on Saturday.

The Zambian striker has had to bide his time because of the established partnership of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho.

But Bees boss Frank says he is well aware of Daka’s ability.

Frank said: “Of course we’ve followed him, especially leading into this game. We know he’s a player that we need to be aware of.

“But let’s see what Brendan does for the game on Sunday. It’s going to be Vardy and Iheanacho or Daka – we don’t know. But we prepare for all three of them.

“They have so much quality and threat going forward that we need to be aware of.”

Brentford will be without Yoane Wissa against the Foxes.

Frank confirmed that Wissa will be out “for a few more weeks” with an ankle injury.
