Midfielder Jan Holldack and defender Emmanuel Onariase have both left Brentford in the closing hours of transfer deadline day.
Holldack, 21, has completed a permanent move to German fourth-tier club KFC Uerdingen 05.
He had joined the Bees in the summer of 2015 after his contract at Cologne expired and made one first-team appearance, in the EFL Cup against Exeter last season.
Onariase, 20, joined Brentford from West Ham for an undisclosed fee at the start of 2016 and then agreed a two-year extension this summer.
He played 15 games for Brentford B last season and was named on the bench for three Championship matches.
He also spent a six-month loan spell at League Two Cheltenham Town, featuring 24 times.
Earlier on Thursday, Jota completed move to Birmingham City, where he will link up again with ex-Bees skipper Harlee Dean.
The Blues are also hoping to conclude deal for Brentford full-back Maxime Colin.
