Jota completes move from Brentford to Birmingham
Birmingham City have signed Jota from Brentford in a deal worth just over £6m.
The Spaniard is joining Harlee Dean, who completed a move from the Bees to St Andrews on Wednesday, and Maxime Colin, who was having a medical ahead of also joining Birmingham as Jota’s move was confirmed.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in Jota and offers were rejected from Middlesbrough and Hull City.
Birmingham’s former QPR boss Harry Redknapp told TalkSport: “He’s got great ability. There won’t be many better players in the Championship than him, that’s for sure. We’re very very pleased to have got that one done.”
