Andy Gogia scored twice as Brentford Under-21s were held by Watford in a 3-3 draw at Vicarage Road on Thursday.
The German midfielder, who has made nine first-team appearances since joining in the summer, grabbed his goals early in the second half to put the Bees 3-1 up.
After a lively start with chances at both ends, Watford took the lead in the 24th minute when unfortunate Brentford keeper Nik Tzanev slipped attempting to control a backpass and Alex Jakubiak netted.
Brentford equalised on the stroke of half-time when Bradley Clayton converted a penalty after a foul by Matthew Hall.
Gogia then scored two quick goals shortly after the break, set up by Clayton and Lewis McLeod respectively.
Jakubiak pulled one back on 64 minutes after a pass by Mahlondo Martin and then completed his hat-trick in the 90th minute to earn a draw.
