Norgaard being assessed after ‘minor setback’

Thomas Frank is hoping Christian Norgaard will soon be available again after an injury setback.

The Brentford midfielder returned to action in the recent Carabao Cup victory over Newcastle after almost three months out with an ankle problem.

Norgaard has since been struggling again and will not be involved against Bournemouth this evening.

“He had a minor setback in the Newcastle game,” Bees boss Frank explained.

“We will see in the next days or week when he could be fully available again. It was just too short for the Bournemouth game.”

Meanwhile, Frank has reiterated that there is no prospect of any of his star players being sold during the January transfer window.
