Bees have no urgent need for more signings – Frank

Brentford boss Thomas Frank

Thomas Frank says Brentford do not have an urgent need to add more new signings.

Goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez is the newest arrival at the club – and head coach Frank believes the Bees are strong in every position.

He said: “I would say in the market we are always looking for a potentially good option.

“But we don’t have anything close and it’s not that we need anything in a specific position at all.

“I’m pleased with the transfer window we’ve had so far and pleased with the squad. We’re in a good position.”

Frank will again be without Shandon Baptiste and Mathias Jensen for Saturday’s game at Crystal Palace, although both have resumed training.

Tariqe Fosu has been nursing a knock but could be available this weekend.

But Frank remains unsure when Josh Dasilva might be able to return from his troublesome hip problem.

“That’s a longer one. I can’t put a specific time on that,” Frank admitted.
