Boss Thomas Frank says Brentford must work on their attacking qualities following the 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest.
With nearly a quarter of the season complete, Frank believes his side have made some important adjustments since last season.
But, with the Bees 17th in the Championship after a fifth loss in 11 league games this term, he has concerns heading into the international break.
“It’s a team that is much more solid and structured,” Frank said.
“It goes away from home and wants to dominate from the first minute. There’s only been one performance I have not been satisfied with and that’s Preston away.
“So it’s the offensive part we need to work on. We are definitely on the right track and just need to tip some of the small margins in our favour.
“Today was our third game in seven days against a fine side playing with confidence and we just lacked a little sharpness.”
