Several clubs interested in Bees youngster Stevens
Brentford full-back Fin Stevens is expected to leave the club on loan, with several interested suitors in both the Championship and League One.
The 19-year-old is highly rated by the club and recently signed a new five-year deal which lasts until the summer of 2027.
Brentford received approaches from sides interested in taking Stevens on loan earlier in the transfer window but were reluctant to let him leave without having first strengthened at full-back.
The imminent arrival of Aaron Hickey, who can play at right-back as well as left-back, is expected to pave the way for Stevens to head out on loan, however.
Championship clubs Swansea City, Reading and Blackpool are among those who have previously expressed an interest in the Wales Under-21 international, as well as a host of League One clubs.
The former Arsenal youngster joined the Bees from non-League Worthing in 2020 and made four first-team appearances last season, including his Premier League debut against Southampton in November.
Stevens is believed to be on the verge of breaking into the Wales senior team and a loan move could help him to force his way into the squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
And it looks likely that he will head out to gain experience in the EFL this summer, though Brentford are cautious about where they send the youngster and are keen to ensure that he is given the opportunity to impress.
