Sam Saunders scored for Brentford’s development side as they drew 2-2 away at Nottingham Forest on Monday afternoon.
Zain Westbrooke also scored for the Bees, who were behind twice in the game at the Nigel Doughty Academy in West Bridgford.
Forest’s Andy Reid, making his return to action after nearly a year on the sidelines, crossed for Joe Worrall to head in the opening goal in the first minute.
Saunders, working his way back to fitness after injury problems, equalised from the edge of the penalty area midway through the second half.
James Thorne restored the hosts’ lead immediately but Westbrooke’s goal restored parity.
