Onariase features as Bees Under-21s draw

January signing Emmanuel Onariase started as Brentford Under-21s drew 1-1 with Ipswich at Griffin Park on Monday.

The 19-year-old, brought in from West Ham, played in a team which included Jermaine Udumaga, back after his loan spell at Wycombe, and the in-form Jan Holldack.

Bradley Clayton gave the Bees a half-time lead when he was played in by Reece Cole and guided the ball across goal and in at the far post.

Ipswich equalised after the break when Brentford failed to deal with a free-kick and Chris Smith drilled in a shot from close range.
