Moore admits his future looks uncertain
Liam Moore admits his future beyond the end of the season looks uncertain.
The 22-year-old centre-back recently rejoined Brentford on loan from Leicester for the rest of the campaign, having struggled to break into the Foxes’ first team in the Premier League.
“I don’t know [about the future]. I have to see about the here and now,” he told West London Sport.
“Nothing is obvious in these leagues and I know I’m not guaranteed to start here. I have to fight for the position.
“Brentford’s my place now and I’m going to work as hard as I can to get promoted with them. I believe there’s a really good chance they could do that.
“I have to focus on getting it right here, improve, and that could be really beneficial for Leicester if I get lots of games and come back a stronger player next season.
“No matter what happens in the rest of my career and the rest of my life, I will always hold something at Leicester and keep an eye on them. I’ve been there since I was seven years old.”
Moore has made 59 appearances for the East Midlands club, with 14 of them coming this season.
He has featured twice for Brentford since returning to Griffin Park, where he also had a spell on loan last term.
