McEachran returns to action after injury
Josh McEachran came through 45 minutes unscathed as Brentford lost 2-1 to Premier League side Bournemouth in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Friday.
The former Chelsea midfielder broke his foot in pre-season, shortly after signing for the Bees, but is now on the comeback trail.
Yoann Barbet and Jack O’Connell played the whole game, while Konstantin Kerschbaumer, Sam Saunders, Andy Gogia, Marcos Tebar and Philipp Hofmann also started.
Bournemouth scored twice either side of the break to take control of the game.
Yann Kermorgant headed home a Joe Bennett cross in the first half before Glenn Murray rounded Bees keeper Jack Bonham to make it 2-0.
The Bees pulled one back just past the hour mark as Kerschbaumer found the net from 20 yards.
Saunders had we thought was the equaliser ruled out when his free-kick was ruled out for an apparent offside, while substitute Courtney Senior also had a goal chalked off.
