Craig offered new deal by Brentford

Brentford have offered defender Tony Craig an extension to his contract.

The 29-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of the season and the club are hoping Craig and midfielder Jonathan Douglas will follow Alan McCormack in signing new terms.

Craig joined the Bees on a three-year deal from Millwall in 2012 and has made 111 appearances for the club.

He has been central to Brentford’s excellent start to life in the Championship, performing well in his seven league appearances so far.
