Brentford striker Will Grigg has joined Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old was out of favour at Griffin Park and spent last season on loan at MK Dons, scoring 20 goals as they finished runners-up in League One.
It was the second successive promotion-winning campaign for Grigg, having been part of the Bees’ successful squad in 2013-14.
However, he only netted five times in 34 appearances that season and was sent out on loan before he could make an appearance in the Championship.
The Northern Ireland international had caught Brentford’s eye after a previous prolific season in League One, scoring 19 goals for Walsall in 2012-13.
He will return to that division once more after signing a two-year deal with Wigan, who were relegated from the Championship last term.
