Brentford are giving a trial to former Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.
The 28-year-old, without a club after being released by Ipswich in the summer, scored for the Bees’ development side against Huddersfield at Griffin Park on Saturday. The visitors won the game 2-1.
Ebanks-Blake spent five-and-a-half years at Molinuex, scoring 64 goals in 193 appearances and featuring in both the Premier League and the Championship.
He began his career as a Manchester United trainee before joining Plymouth after a brief loan spell at Royal Antwerp, and signed for Wolves in 2008.
Ebanks-Blake joined Ipswich in December 2013 after a successful trial following his release by Wolves, but failed to score for the Tractor Boys in 10 appearances.
