Brentford have signed Austrian midfielder Konstantin Kerschbaumer for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Griffin Park to move from Admira Wacker Modling.
Kerschbaumer only joined Admira in January having impressed for SKN St. Polten in the first half of the season.
He played in Europa League qualifiers for St. Polten and scored against a PSV Eindhoven side containing the likes of Memphis Depay and Luuk De Jong.
Bees head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen said: “I am delighted that Konstantin has chosen to join us at Brentford.
“He is a box-to-box midfield player who I think will add versatility to our squad.”
Kerschbaumer is Brentford’s fourth signing of the summer after French centre-back Yoann Barbet and midfielders Akaki Gogia and Ryan Williams.
