Brentford boss Mark Warburton hopes to have loanees Alex Pritchard and Chris Long fit for Saturday’s game with Bolton.
Both missed the defeat at Sheffield Wednesday in midweek as Tottenham midfielder Pritchard was nursing a calf problem and striker Long returned to Everton for treatment after picking up a knock.
Long scored for Everton in an Under-21 match on Thursday and Warburton is confident both will be available for the crucial clash at Griffin Park.
He said: “Alex has been with the medical team, we will see how he goes. Chris went back to Everton to see how he is getting on. Fingers crossed we will be in good shape.
“Our relationship with the parent clubs is about trust. We tell them how they are medically and show them DVDs.
“Premier League clubs have to trust clubs they lend their players to, we have to show we have an environment conducive to development. If we can do that, loans work well.”
