Brentford are looking to send midfielder Jake Reeves back out on loan.
The 20-year-old has found his first-team opportunities limited so far this season, making just three starts and six substitute appearances.
Reeves had a spell on loan at AFC Wimbledon last November and the club feel he may benefit from a similar move this term.
“Jake is someone who might benefit from going on loan again,” Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton told West London Sport.
“With players like Jake we have to think on a week to week basis. He’s been in and around the first team and we need to keep guys like him sharp and playing games.
“I’m sure there will be a lot of interest in Jake, but we can’t just send him out to any club. They have to go to a club we feel will be right for them.
“We want our players to go out to clubs where they play the right kind of football, in good teams, on good surfaces and to places that will aid their development.”
Reeves joined Brentford’s youth academy from Tottenham in 2009 and has made 35 appearances in all competitions since his debut in August 2011.
Brentford have already sent the likes of Stuart Dallas, Emmanuel Oyeleke, Alfie Mawson and Paul Hayes out on loan this season.
Reserve keepers Jack Bonham and Liam O’Brien are both set to remain at Griffin Park, however, with manager Uwe Rosler keen to have three back-up options in goal.
