Ezri Konsa has completed his move from Brentford to Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old Konsa, who had a £12m release clause in his contract, joined the Bees on a three-year deal from Charlton last summer. He started in 42 of the club’s 46 Championship fixtures last season.
He is reunited with Villa’s former Brentford boss Dean Smith.
“Ezri fits the profile of the type of player we were searching for,” said Smith.
“He’s a high-potential player who I believe can step up to the Premier League and I’m really looking forward to working with him again.”
