Jake Bidwell’s loan has been extended by another month, Brentford have confirmed.
The 19-year-old Everton defender has also been given clearance from his parent club to play in next week’s FA Cup first round tie at Boreham Wood.
Bidwell has been operating on a rolling month-by-month deal since he joined in August – his second loan spell at Brentford after a five-month stay last term.
He has been a regular in the first team this season, with 10 starts and one substitute appearance.
Last month Bidwell told West London Sport he had no problem with the nature of his loan contract and believed Brentford was the best place for him.
