An injury suffered by Brentford midfielder Jonathan Douglas during his team’s win against Bury is not thought to be serious.
Douglas was the victim of a dangerous tackle from Steven Schumacher, which forced him to go off.
He was clearly in some pain following a late lunge from the Bury midfielder and was helped off the pitch in the 64th minute.
But Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee said: “It wasn’t a good tackle but hopefully Dougie is okay. The main concern has been whether he is alright and he seems to be, so that’s good news.”
The Bees travel to Hartlepool on Easter Monday in search of a sixth straight victory and Douglas is expected to travel with the squad.
