Brentford striker Farid El Alagui faces an anxious wait to discover the extent of a knee injury he suffered in the win over Crawley.
The Moroccan, who had only been on the pitch 10 minutes after coming on as a late substitute, was stretchered off in the closing stages after colliding with Crawley keeper Paul Jones.
As the pair challenged for the ball, El Alagui fell awkwardly and immediately waved for help as he lay prone on the ground.
Immediately after the match, which Brentford won 2-1, Bees boss Uwe Rosler said: “His knee is very swollen and he can’t put any weight on it.
“It is far too early to predict the damage. We will wait until the inflammation has gone down and he has a scan.
“He hyper-extended his knee in the impact with the keeper. We can’t do anything about it, it’s purely bad luck.
“I don’t blame the keeper at all. It was a 50-50 ball and just shows the commitment of Farid.”
