Fulham were our only winners in the Championship this weekend, coming from behind to beat Barnsley 4-2 and secure a much-needed away victory.
There was a first goal for the club for Scott Malone and Chris Martin, with Lucas Piazon and Sone Aluko also finding the net.
Brentford were well beaten, 3-1 at Newcastle, but Scott Hogan scored again, while QPR were poor in their 1-1 draw at home to Reading.
Here’s our choice for team of the week:
Earned his team a point with a number of second-half saves.
A mixed display, but at times he’s a very good outlet for Fulham on their right-hand side.
Got his body in the way on a number of occasions to help keep the score down at St James’ Park.
All three of our Championship teams were unconvincing at the back. Sigurdsson did well in the second half at Barnsley.
Scored one and set up another. A good day for the Whites left-back.
Pawel Wszolek scored his first QPR goal but Cairney’s all-round display was again impressive.
Neat and tidy again. The veteran midfielder has started the season really well.
Scored and was a driving force going forward.
The on-loan Chelsea youngster also scored and created openings. Seems to be growing in stature.
Netted again for the Bees, taking his tally for the season to eight.
Has struggled, but a first goal for Fulham might be a turning point.
