Brighton are keen on Brentford left-back Rico Henry.
Newly promoted West Brom are also interested in Henry, who was outstanding for the Bees last term.
The Birmingham-born 23-year-old moved to west London from Walsall in 2016.
He put a series of injury setbacks behind him to make 51 appearances in all competitions last season.
That season ended in disappointment when Brentford missed out on promotion by losing their final two matches of the regular season and then the play-off final against Fulham.
That has inevitably sparked interest among Premier League clubs in their best players.
Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma have made the headlines amid interest from a number of clubs.
But there are potential suitors too for Henry, whose reputation has grown in recent months.
Brentford, though, are under no pressure to sell.
