Brentford winger Joel Valencia will be out for at least six weeks after dislocating his shoulder.
The summer signing will see a specialist to decide whether he needs surgery.
If he does, the 25-year-old is expected be sidelined for three months while he recovers.
If not, Valencia will be put on a six-week rehabilitation programme.
The Ecuadorean suffered the injury during the Bees’ recent 3-0 win at Wigan.
