Brentford came from a goal down to win an entertaining west London derby 3-1 against 10-man Fulham. Here’s how we rated the players at Griffin Park.
Largely untested by Fulham, who named no recognised striker in their starting line-up. Couldn’t do much about the Whites’ opener.
Shaky first half up against the link-up between Ryan Sessegnon and Neeskens Kebano down the wing, but got the better of them in the second period.
Very little got past the Dane, with fellow Scandinavian Stefan Johansen offering no physical challenge against him.
Dealt with virtually everything that was thrown at him. Another solid display at the back.

Handled the threat of Sheyi Ojo and Ryan Fredericks very well, aside from being exposed by the latter in the build-up to Fulham’s goal.
An assured performance, if a little under the radar.
Pinned back by Johansen at times but remained mostly in charge of the middle.
Recycled the ball effectively as Brentford thwarted the visitors’ attacks.

Looked the home side’s most dangerous threat in the opening stages and was rewarded for his persistence with a goal. Had to limp off with cramp midway through the second half.
Forced off through injury too early for him to make his mark on the game.
A constant nuisance against Sessegnon and Odoi down the right, bursting through midfield to set up the opener and drawing the foul that led to Odoi’s red card. Put the ball away with confidence to cap off an excellent performance.
Substituted on for Vibe in the early stages, took his goal well and teed up Watkins exquisitely to finish the game off. A performance that merits a place in the next starting line-up.
The young Scot held his own after returning from injury.
Errant with much of his distribution, though he made a great reaction save from a Barbet header in the second half.
Got his third assist of the season and looked lively going up and down the right flank. One of Fulham’s better performances of the afternoon.
Brought the ball out with authority in the first half and won several aerial challenges, but lost possession more than usual.
A solid first half from the Belgian was spoiled by a couple of sloppy challenges that resulted in his sending-off. Ultimately cost the visitors, who couldn’t mount a comeback with a man down.

Provided the outlet going forwards but was caught on the counter several times, eventually leading to Brentford’s third goal that killed the game off.
Solid in the first half but had to spend the second at centre-back following Odoi’s dismissal, which starved the Fulham midfield of the shield it needed.
Stood strong defensively and headed a few Brentford crosses clear. Should have done better with one of Fredericks’ pull-backs, which he put well over the bar.
Another improved 90 minutes from the Fulham captain on his return from a knee injury. Came very close to equalising with a curling effort against the crossbar from the edge of the box.
Didn’t have many clear-cut chances but almost beat Bentley with a powerful drive in the first half. Tracked back tirelessly when the Whites were reduced to 10 men.

Lacked composure and gave the ball away repeatedly, with only 74% pass accuracy. Another poor performance by the Norwegian’s standards.
Showed quick feet and good control when linking up with Sessegnon down the wing. Took his goal very well on the stretch.
Couldn’t get into the action when he was brought on with his team chasing the game.
Not the ideal circumstances for the youngster to grow his confidence in the first team. Nonetheless, he got more valuable minutes under his belt.
