Brentford unlikely to retain Oshodi

Brentford are unlikely to sign Forest Green Rovers defender Eddie Oshodi.

The 21-year-old was on trial with the Bees last week and Mark Warburton was keen to see how he performed in Tuesday’s development-side game against Ipswich.

He was unable to feature in the 1-1 draw, however, with Forest Green reluctant to release him because of an injury to another of their defenders.

And Warburton is not planning to retain Oshodi, who was a trainee at Watford during the Brentford manager’s time at Vicarage Road.
