Brentford snap up Danish teenager
Brentford have signed Denmark youth international Justin Shaibu.
The 18-year-old forward has been snapped up from HB Køge for an undisclosed fee and has signed a two-year contract.
Shaibu, who can play up front or on the flank, impressed during a recent trial with the Bees.
He will now fly to Denmark to join Brentford B’s training camp.
“Justin is an exciting young striker whose power, pace and game-understanding particularly stood out during his recent trial period,” Brentford’s head of football operations Rob Rowan told the club’s website.
“He’s a versatile forward in the sense that he can play the wide areas for us or play in a two up top if required, which was something that impressed the coaching staff.”
