Brentford sign Spurs youngster on loan

Brentford have signed Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old, who has also signed a new two-year deal at White Hart Lane, made 44 appearances and scored eight goals on loan at Swindon last season.

Pritchard is an attacking midfielder most comfortable on the right-hand side, and has three caps for the England Under-20s.

He signed for Tottenham in 2009 and graduated into the first-team squad two years later, making his full Spurs debut in their final game of last season, against Aston Villa.
