Brentford have signed defenders Blair Adams and Miguel Llera on loan from Sunderland and Blackpool respectively.
Both players have joined the Bees for three months and will be available for Saturday’s game against Wycombe.
Adams, 20, has represented England at Under-20 level and was a regular for Sunderland’s reserves last season.
Llera, a 32-year-old Spaniard, moved to English football with MK Dons in 2008 and had a spell at Charlton before Blackpool signed him in the summer after he impressed during a trial.
He has twice featured in the League One play-offs, first for MK Dons in 2009 and then last year for Charlton.
