Maddison scores cracker as Bees lose to Norwich

James Maddison’s brilliant goal gave Norwich victory at Griffin Park.
Maddison struck after just five minutes, smashing a right-footed shot from 25 yards beyond keeper Dan Bentley and into the corner of the net.
Nelson Oliviera went close to doubling the lead when his shot hit the outside of the post.
At the other end, Yoann Barbet sent an effort wide and Kamohelo Mokotjo fired wide following good work on the left by Ollie Watkins.
The fit-again Alan Judge came on in the second half for his first league appearance since April 2016.
The Irishman sent a shot narrowly wide of the target as Brentford tried in vain to find an equaliser.
