Brentford braced for another Woods bid

Brentford want £7m for Ryan Woods and are expecting Swansea City to return with another offer.

West London Sport recently revealed that Swansea were interested in the midfielder, who has impressed hugely since the Bees signed him from Shrewsbury two years ago.

The Swans subsequently made an offer for Woods, 24, which was rejected by the Bees.

Woods was left out for the opening-day win against Rotherham, with boss Dean Smith admitting the player had been “distracted” by uncertainty over his future.
