Norgaard could return against Nottingham Forest
Christian Norgaard could return to the Brentford squad for the first time since August against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
Norgaard has not played since the 1-1 draw with Everton in August because of an Achilles problem but is set to be assessed ahead of the trip to Nottingham, which will determine whether or not he will be involved.
But Mathias Jensen is definitely available for selection after recovering from a dead leg which forced him off in the first half against Wolves.
“There’s no problem,” Frank said.
“He got a dead leg but it looks fine and he trained today, so he’s available for Saturday.
“We will assess Norgaard. He’s progressing well and we will see if we involve him or if we wait until Tuesday.”
The Bees take on a Forest side who currently find themselves bottom of the Premier League, having won just two games all season.
But Frank believes that it will take time for boss Steve Cooper’s side to be at their best having made 22 signings in the summer.
“We all know the best teams are built over time with consistency and they’ve brought quite a few players in, so to gel and to find the right relationships takes time no matter who you are,” he said.
