Brentford have bid accepted for midfielder Damsgaard
Brentford have had a bid worth almost £17m accepted for Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Bees are still in discussions with the 22-year-old Denmark international over personal terms.
Damsgaard played just 11 times in Serie A last season due to injury problems which sidelined him from October until March.
Brentford are hoping to give him a medical in the coming days, where they will look to find out more about the issues which kept him out for so long last season.
