Bees set to seal signings of Lewis-Potter and Strakosha
Brentford are set to complete the signings of Hull City forward Keane Lewis-Potter and former Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.
Lewis-Potter (pictured) has left Hull’s pre-season training camp to undergo a medical with Brentford ahead of a club-record transfer to west London.
It will be the second time this transfer window that the club have broken their transfer record, following the signing of Aaron Hickey from Bologna on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is a long-term target of the Bees and scored 13 goals in all competitions for the Championship side last season while also assisting four times.
Goalkeeper Strakosha is also undergoing a medical at the club after leaving Lazio this summer and had previously been linked with a move to west London rivals Fulham, as well as Manchester United.
Brentford have been trying to tie down current first-choice goalkeeper David Raya to a longer-term deal but are yet to agree terms.
His current contract expires in 2024.

Lewis Potter is one for the future and training alongside Premiership players under the guidance of a Premiership coach will improve his game.
A potential star of the future but probably will only play a bit part role this coming season

Hi
I am a Hull City supporter. If you sign Lewis Potter for 20ml I think you are grossly overpaying for a Championship player with no experience in the PL.
He’s an excellent forward now in the championship with Hull but there are plenty more like him.
You will be getting an excellent lad which will fit into your plans, but for scoring many goals is another matter.
He is not another Bowen.
Cheers
