Brentford eye Irish striker Donnelly

Brentford are one of a number of clubs looking at Cliftonville striking sensation Rory Donnelly.

Bees boss Uwe Rosler watched the 19-year-old in action against Glentoran on Tuesday night, as did Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers.

Donnelly has scored 14 goals this season – including five in two games against champions Linfield – and is now attracting interest from across the Irish Sea.

Scouts from Everton and SPL giants Rangers have been been spotted at Cliftonville games in recent weeks, and the north Belfast club could sell the player when the January transfer window opens.
