Brentford confirm Field’s new deal

Brentford have confirmed that teenage left-back Tom Field has signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract.

The 19-year-old academy product has recently broken into the first team, featuring in the win over Bristol City and the Bees’ defeat at Leeds.

Field made his debut at the end of last season, which led to talks over a new two-year deal during the summer.

Those discussions were shelved, but Field has now signed a contract at Griffin Park until 2020.
