Brentford coach departs to join Nottingham Forest
Paul Williams has left Brentford to take up a coaching role at Nottingham Forest.
Former Derby, Coventry and Southampton midfielder Williams joined the Bees in the summer as logistics manager, but stepped up to assist Lee Carsley when he took on the head coach’s job in September.
After Dean Smith took over from Carsley, Williams was offered a new role at Griffin Park working alongside development squad boss Kevin O’Connor.
However, he has opted to take up an offer coaching the first team at Championship rivals Forest.
