Brentford head coach Dean Smith has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract along with his assistants Richard O’Kelly and Thomas Frank.
Smith has been in charge at Griffin Park since November 2015, leading them to a ninth-placed finish that season.
They finished 10th last term and are currently also 10th in the table – just four points away from the Championship play-off places.
“We have been pleased to see the progress the team has made this season,” Brentford’s co-director of football Rasmus Ankersen told the club’s website.
“We strongly believe that we are on the right path, and with the new contracts for Dean, Richard and Thomas we can now continue the hard work with stability in key coaching positions.”
