Injured Wissa ‘out for a few more weeks’

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has confirmed that Yoane Wissa will be out “for a few more weeks” with an ankle problem.

Wissa scored a stoppage-time winner at West Ham prior to the international break but later suffered an injury in training.

He subsequently missed the 1-0 defeat against Chelsea and will not return to action before the next international break.


Brentford will assess Vitaly Janelt ahead of Sunday’s match against Leicester.

Janelt missed the West Ham game after sustaining a thigh strain during the pre-match warm-up.
