Brentford will make late decision on Toney
A decision on whether Ivan Toney will return to action for Brentford against Arsenal on Saturday will be made on the morning of the game.
The striker has missed the past two games – a defeat by Manchester City and the draw with Crystal Palace – with a calf problem.
He was also assessed on the morning of the game against Palace before being ruled out and has been involved in some light training sessions this week.
“Ivan has done some light sessions so we’ll assess him in the morning and see how close he is,” boss Thomas Frank said.
“Of course he’s a player that we really would like in our team or at least in the squad.
“We will see tomorrow and I’ll take the final decision then.”
Christian Eriksen won’t be involved against the Gunners but is being lined up for a debut against Newcastle.
