Brentford accept bid from Bristol City for striker Gray
Brentford have accepted an offer from Bristol City for striker Andre Gray.
Hull City have been trying to complete a deal to sign the 24-year-old but have been unable to agree a fee with Brentford.
The Robins, meanwhile, have been given the green light to discuss personal terms with him after tabling a bid following Dwight Gayle’s decision not to move to Ashton Gate.
Crystal Palace accepted a £6m bid for Gayle but the forward is holding out for a move elsewhere, with Norwich among the clubs interested.
Gray joined Brentford from Luton Town last summer and scored 18 goals in his first season in the Championship.

Absolute rubbish! To sell Gray to this lot beggars belief! We will now invest £4m in an unknown French striker, so what is Brentford’s net net gain here on this transaction?
League 1 here we come utterly bonkers piece of business!!
