Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has received a boost after the club extended the loan deals of Everton duo Jake Bidwell and Adam Forshaw until the end of the season.
Left-back Bidwell has impressed hugely since arriving at Griffin Park in November, while midfielder Forshaw has also made an impact during his month at the club.
The news is a welcome development for Rosler, whose team have lost three matches in a row and are losing ground in the race for a top-six finish.
Their play-off challenge has stalled since the departure of top scorer Gary Alexander to Crawley Town, and Tuesday’s defeat at Bournemouth saw the Bees slip to 11th in the table.
