Chelsea youngster George Saville is delighted with his start to life on loan at Brentford.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined the Bees until January and has already made an impact at Griffin Park.
“I’ve settled in well. The lads and the manager have been great and they’ve made it really easy for me,” Saville told West London Sport.
“It’s great to be playing competitive football week in, week-out – that’s what I want to do.”
Saville impressed as Brentford secured their first win of the season at home to Sheffield United at the weekend.
Last term he was a regular for Chelsea’s Under-21 side – and watched them lose against Tottenham on Friday.
“I saw them lose 4-2 to Spurs – I don’t really know what happened there to be honest,” he said
“I’m just concentrating fully on Brentford and we did really well against Sheffield United.
“It was great to get three points in the first home game and we are up there already and unbeaten in two matches.
“I’m part of Brentford and my priority is to play well for this team and get them up to the Championship.”
