Hogan ‘a good prospect’ – Bilic
West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has admitted he is an admirer of Brentford striker Scott Hogan.
Brentford have rejected an offer of £10m from the Hammers for Hogan, while Watford have made an enquiry about the 24-year-old.
Asked about Hogan at a press conference on Thursday morning, Bilic said: “He’s a good player. I watched him a few times.
“He is very sharp, quick – a good finisher, doing it in Championship. He’s young and a good prospect. He is not on our roster though.”
Although Watford have not tabled a formal offer, they are one of a number of clubs to show an interest.
Reading have had a bid rejected, while Newcastle and Aston Villa have been linked with Hogan, who has 14 Championship goals to his name this season.
His former club Rochdale would get a slice of any transfer fee if Brentford choose to sell.
Hogan has 18 months of his contract at Griffin Park remaining.
