Brentford striker Nick Proschwitz has joined Coventry City on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old signed for the Bees from Hull City in August but has only started one game, coming on as a substitute 19 times.
The arrival of Everton striker Chris Long has pushed the German further down the pecking order.
His contract expires in the summer, although the club do have the option of automatically extending it.
Bees boss Mark Warburton said: “Nick needs to go out and play some games to try and earn himself a contract for next season.
“I am sure he will be effective at that level and I wish him all the best for his loan.”
