John Egan looks set to leave Brentford for Sheffield United.
The Blades have had a £4m bid for the centre-back accepted by Brentford, who are also ready to sell Florian Jozefzoon to either Derby or Leeds.
Egan, 25, has made 67 Championship appearances for the Bees since being signed from Gillingham two years ago.
His impressive performances attracted interest from a number of clubs prior to Sheffield United tabling a formal bid.
Brentford are prepared to to cash in on Egan, having signed centre-back Ezri Konsa from Charlton and rejected bids from Bournemouth for Chris Mepham.
