Brentford’s Marcondes out ‘long-term’ with injury
Brentford’s Emiliano Marcondes faces a lengthy spell out with damaged ankle ligaments.
The forward, who has only just returned from a four-month absence, was stretchered off at the end of the draw at West Brom.
It was only his third outing of the season but, in another blow for the player, boss Thomas Frank confirmed he will be out “long-term”.
Frank added: “It’s a long-term thing. We don’t know exactly. It’s months.
“We are not sure exactly of the precise nature of it but It is something with the ligaments in the ankle.”
