Judge hints he will stay at Brentford
Alan Judge has hinted that he will sign a new contract at Brentford despite speculation linking him with a move to Newcastle.
Speaking to the Irish Times, Judge explained that Griffin Park “feels like the right place to be” after his long spell on the sidelines.
Newcastle discussed signing Judge, 28, before he suffered a broken leg in a match at Ipswich almost a year ago.
The Magpies have since been tipped to move for him when he recovers. But Judge, whose contract expires at the end of the season, has indicated that he will stay with the Bees.
He said: “I’ll find out what’s going to happen in the next week or so.
“I’ll make a decision, but Brentford to me, at this moment in time, feels like the right place to be.
“They’ve been good to me and I feel that when I’ve been playing I’ve been good for them.
“Hopefully you’ll see a bit of news in the next few days.”
